Monday Whispers: Two Players Suspended For Cal Game
For the second time in three weeks, USC suspended two players for a game.
It’s another sign of the lack of discipline that marks the program under Coach Clay Helton.
The suspended players were linebackers Levi Jones and Raymond Scott, sources told USC247.com.
According to sources, Jones was suspended for an off-field incident Thursday. Scott was suspended for violating a team rule. It was the second suspension for Scott. He and defensive end Hunter Echols were suspended for the Utah game.
Jones has 13 tackles and three pass breakups this season. He has backed up starter John Houston this season.
USC did not announce either suspension during Saturday’s game.
