USC-UCLA Report Card
I'm tired of pointing out what JT Daniels cannot do. But that interception was something else. Of course, Clay Helton doesn't see it. Sears, please.
USC has average tailbacks. All year. Stephen Carr might be special but is either hurt or in the doghouse.
Nice plays by Velus Jones and Amon-Ra St. Brown. But Tyler Vaughns was hardly at his best and Daniels locked on to Brown on fourth-and-3, which was a huge mistake. I still don't think St. Brown looks like Robert Woods, Marqise Lee or JuJu Smith-Schuster in their freshmen years.
More snap woes and always looking average . . . at best.
They let a UC Davis-transfer gain 289 yards and look slow when they aren't punching a UCLA player in the head.
What a difference Cameron Smith made coming back for his senior year.
Is Iman Marshall still a lock down corner? Can Marvell Tell and Co. ever be in the right spot on a running play that gets past the front seven?
A fake punt and blocked punt! Best special teams coach in the country! I almost forgot the missed field goal.
Where is the discipline? Clay Helton has lost the team. They didn't look like they wanted it compared to UCLA. If he loses his job, he can thank his stubborn refusal to play Jack Sears.
