Corona Centennial DE Jackson commits to USC
At one point it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Corona Centennial DE Drake Jackson would commit to USC. But then came a 5-7 season and the firing of Jackson’s main recruiter, Kenechi Udeze.
That led to a tough decision for the 6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect. Would he stay home and go to USC, or leave for Arizona State and a coaching staff he knew better? Oregon also became a factor into the equation at some point as well.
Jackson decided to stay home, announcing his decision to become a Trojan on Fox Sports. Jackson gives this recruiting class a much needed boost along the defensive line he and Nick Figueroa are the only two USC DL commits.
