Monday Whispers: Another Example Of Lack Of Discipline
Even if USC is able to land former Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury, will he address any of the discipline issues that permeate the USC program?
Consider what happened right before the Notre Dame: According to several sources, a player found out before the game he was not scheduled to start. The player took his uniform and tossed it to the locker room and floor and decided he would not play.
And he did not play.
Was he punished? Was he prevented from being with the team? Did anyone address it?
During the UCLA game, a player used profanity towards a coach on the sideline when told to correct a mistake. During the Utah game, players swore at a staffer who told them to cheer. Now telling them to cheer might be a little over the top but the point is there is little respect shown.
Would someone like Kingsbury even be able to fix this?
