Arkansas commit on potential flip: 'Anything is possible'
USC offered a scholarship to Murfreesboro, Tenn. CB Adonis Otey on Wednesday. The result? The high school football star scheduled an official visit to see the campus. He’s set to make it Los Angeles on the weekend of February 2.
If the product of Blackman HS commits to becoming a Trojan, it would be big for the USC coaching staff. Their roster is lacking talent in the secondary and Otey is a universally recognized four-star. He also claims to have Clancy Pendergast approved size. He’s apparently 5-foot-11 and 185-pounds.
The only thing standing in USC’s way is Otey’s commitment to Arkansas. The Razorback coaching staff landed his pledge in August and hosted him on campus in early October. But he didn’t sign early and now he has a chance to visit Los Angeles and USC.
Otey seems excited about that opportunity.
“The USC offer means a lot because of the tradition and history,” Otey told USC247.com. “I’ll take my official to see what all they to offer education wise.”
When asked if he could see himself flipping from the Razorbacks to USC, Otey acknowledged the possibility.
“Yeah, anything is possible,” Otey said.
