Thursday Whispers: Graham Harrell Gets A Heads Up From Kliff Kingsbury

A source at the McKay Center said new offensive coordinator Graham Harrell got some a little of orientation from his friend and predecessor, Kliff Kingsbury.

Although Kingsbury was only at USC for about 30 days, he saw enough to give Harrell some advice. Kingsbury was able to tell Harrell that Clay Helton has a couple assistants that seek his approval, namely special teams coach John Baxter and offensive line coach Tim Drevno.

Kingsbury rolled his eyes in the McKay Center when someone mentioned the behavior of Baxter and Drevno toward Helton. So he already realized the nature of McKay Center politics. And passed it down to Harrell.
