USC adds five-star ATH
Saturday’s All-American Bowl was very kind to USC as the Trojans added multiple five-star prospects to its class.
First came Orange Lutheran WR Kyle Ford, followed shortly thereafter by Mater Dei ATH Bru McCoy.
McCoy was thought to be a USC lean for quite some time, probably because of his connections to former Monarch superstars JT Daniels and Amon-Ra St. Brown. But after an impressive official visit to Texas early in September, the Longhorns emerged as the front runner.
That didn't last long and USC eventually emerged again for McCoy. An official visit to the campus in early December seemed to seal the deal. On January 5, McCoy announced his intentions to fight on. He becomes USC's highest rated commit for the class and the first from Mater Dei.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect plans to play wide receiver at USC. He says he'll wear number four for the Trojans.
