LB target Botelho: USC is a great school, I can’t wait to see what the future holds
Recently, USC has been pushing to make an impression amongst the football recruits in Honolulu. In the 2020 class, one of their biggest targets plays at powerhouse St. Louis HS.
That target would be linebacker Jordan Botelho, who now has 18 scholarship offers. USC came in as offer number 12, when the Trojans extended one back in December.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound junior says USC showed quite the commitment to to making him feel wanted. He was visited by a member of USC’s staff and got the scholarship offer in person.
“Coach (Johnny) Nansen came by our school (in December) and told me the great news of me receiving an offer,” Botelho told USC247.com. “USC is a great school and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
USC currently has some ties to St. Louis HS. Linebacker Jordan Iosefa played his high school football there and the Trojans also signed another alumni in offensive lineman Gino Quinones during the 2019 class
