LB target Tufaga: The USC offer means more than words can explain
USC is very focused on recruiting players from St. Louis HS in Honolulu. The latest prospect to get a scholarship offer from the Trojans is 2021 linebacker Mason Tufaga.
Tufaga now holds six scholarship offers. Besides USC, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, South Carolina and Utah have all come forward to recruit the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder.
While he’s grateful for all of his scholarship offers, Tufaga used emotional language when asked about what the offer from USC meant.
“The USC offer means more than words can explain,” Tufaga said to USC247.com. “Many greats and hall of fame players have come out of SC, not only to be successful on the field but off the field as well. That’s the ultimate goal.”
USC is also after one of his fellow high school linebackers in Jordan Bothelo and just signed offensive lineman Gino Quinones as a member of the 2019 class.
