USC adds pledge from Corona Centennial DB
USC added two safeties to the 2019 class on Tuesday evening in Dorian Hewitt and Jayden Williams. The latter announced his pledge in a surprise video commitment, 12 hours before his signing day ceremony at Coronoa Centennial HS.
Williams chose the Trojans over Oregon and Washington after last weekend’s official visit to USC’s campus. The Trojan coaching staff offered him a scholarship in January, but his other two scholarship offers came closer to signing day as well.
USC now has room to breathe when it comes to their depth chart at defensive back. The Trojans currently have seven pledges at those spots for this class.
