Thursday Whispers: USC Recruiting Getting Different Look
USC’s recruiting staff has undergone a shake-up.
Several sources say Eric Ziskin, who held the title of Assistant Athletic Director/Recruiting & Player Personnel, has resigned. Ziskin held his current title for the past four seasons.
There’s been quite a bit of turnover with the USC football program with new assistant coaches, three new strength coaches needed,, a new on-campus recruiting coordinator and now someone will need to fill Ziskin’s role.
“It seems like someone is always leaving,” an athletic dept. employee said.
This is what happens when there is a sense of desperation within the football program. Some people want to get out before Clay Helton gets fired or it has finally dawned on them that Helton’s methods are not working.
