Tuesday Whispers: Trustee Gets Earful Over Presidential Search
USC was supposed to have found a replacement for Max Nikias by now. Or at least that is what the public thinks.
There was a recent event at the university attended by a member of the Board of Trustees, someone approached a trustee and demanded answers, according to an eyewitness.
“When are you guys going to hire someone?” a booster demanded to know. “You should have hired someone. There are too many problems and you can’t even hire someone to fix the problems.”
According to the witness, the trustee did not respond to the remarks.
But the incident underscores people are losing patience . . . with all aspects of USC.
