USC to host WR target on Saturday
Traveling from Fresno to Los Angeles isn’t a painless journey at all. But that isn’t stopping a name 2020 prospect from visiting USC tomorrow.
Jalen McMillan, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver from San Joaquin Memorial HS, is that name recruit. The universally recognized four-star tells USC247.com he’ll be on USC’s campus on Saturday.
That’s great news for the Trojan coaching staff, especially since they’ve made McMillan such a big priority. He was offered a scholarship to USC nearly a year ago and has been in regular contact with the coaches since.
McMillan says that’s one reason why he’s so interested in USC.
“They’re very high and because of the coaching staff,” McMillan told USC247.com after revealing his plans to visit.
McMillan placed USC in his top 10 back in February, but doesn’t decide to wear cardinal and gold in college, he has plenty of other options as well. He holds scholarship offers from 11 schools in the Pac-12 (all but Stanford) and also hold scholarship offers from national powers like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
