DB target Greenfield loved USC visit
USC’s coaching staff has been aggressively recruiting high school defensive backs of late. A recent example is a scholarship offer made to Jared Greenfield.
The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect visited USC on Friday. That’s when he received his latest college opportunity.
“I visited and they offered,” Greenfield said of USC. “ It means a lot because its my first LA offer.”
When asked about the visit, Greenfield responded, “I loved it, it was a very fun place.”
Greenfield is a member of the 2020 class who will play his senior season at Narbonne HS in Harbor City, Calif. He spent his junior year at Bingham, Utah HS. after transferring out of Crenshaw, Calif. HS.
Even while moving around a bit, he’s managed to collect an impressive list of scholarship offers.
USC is the sixth Pac-12 school to offer Greenfield a scholarship, following scholarship offers from Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State. Schools in the ACC and Big 12 have also extended scholarship offers.
