QB target Moss: The USC offer means so much to me
Miller Moss is only a rising junior but that doesn’t mean he isn’t an elite talent. The quarterback from Alemany HS has already collected scholarship offers anyone would be jealous of.
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Michigan had already started to court this gunslinger before another name school offered Wednesday afternoon. That’s when Moss camped at USC and impressed the Trojan coaching staff.
Graham Harrell pulled Moss aside shortly after the camp and offered him a scholarship.
“The USC offer means so much to me,” Moss told USC247.com. “I grew up in the Pete Carroll era looking up to guys like Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley.”
While Moss says he grew up looking up to USC quarterbacks, he isn’t ready to jump on the scholarship offer quite yet. In fact, he says he’ll take plenty of time before making a decision.
“As far as commitment, I don’t have a set period of time and it’s very unlikely that I make a decision before the season,” Moss said. “I want to make a commitment that is really meaningful, and I think in order to do that, I need to take my time in this process.”
